Cooling Down

It's been a pretty relaxed week. "T" is settling in and getting used to the routine. On Wednesday, we decided to figure out the bus system and take a trip to the mall. We got some help from the nice bus drivers and made it there easily. We spent a few hours shopping and picked up a few essential items, like socks and thermals. We also checked out some handball shoes, but we didn't buy any yet. I think we're going to wait to see if we can find any more. Afterwards, we made our way back, but I (Jennie) made us get off at the wrong stop so we were a little off. Oops.

Today, we went to a place called Emaus, with our teammate Caroline and her son, Tio. It's a little barn/petting zoo/playground that's nice for the little kids. So Kya and Tio had fun petting the little rabbits, pigs, ponies, etc. Once again, Kya made a boyfriend. The weather was a bit chilly, but we got through it and had a good time. It was nice to get out and see some new stuff.

Also, we want to wish our USA Team the best this weekend as they play their first 3 games in the Quebec League. Good luck ladies!
